To make a run of moonshine, corn meal, malt and sugar are mixed with water and fermented in barrels (like those to your right). This process takes from several days to nearly two weeks, depending on weather and the amount of sugar used.
The official opening of The Museum of the Bootleg Vodka Production took place in July 2009 in Bialystok. So far, it is only one place in Poland where you can observe the unique collection of bootleg vodka equipment.
To produce the bootleg vodka the special equipment, some barrels, balloons and ingredients (water, sugar, yeast) are needed. You can obtain the bootleg vodka from fruits, if you are skillful enough. But now I want to present you some pictures I’ve found in the net, from flickr.com.
